What is 3CX ?

3CX is a Phone System which is a software-based VoIP for Windows and Mac that works with SIP standard based IP Phones.

It has a simple to use interface and setup facility.

How does 3CX work ?

 You can simply download the platform and run it on your existing IT servers. 3CX can be run on Microsoft Windows Server 2019 and 2016 and can be virtualised in VMware. Or it can be run in Microsoft Azure or Amazon EC2.

3CX has an application for smartphones (Android, iOS and Windows 10), as well as for Mac and Windows, that allow users to use their office extension from anywhere. There is no need for a VPN, DNS, SQL nice and easy set up. Alternativly (or as well as) you can use a traditional IP plastic handset on your desk or use a wifi handset.

All you need is the Mac address of the handset or a mobile phone and an Internet connection. Transferring calls is easy if you’re on call you can make 5 simultaneous calls which is great.
